HUNTINGTON, Ind. – For the second time this season, the HU women's track and field program swept the Crossroads League's weekly indoor honors as announced by the national office earlier today.

Destiny Copeland was voted the Women's Indoor T/F Field Athlete of the Week by dominating jumps at Indiana Tech's Warrior Indoor Invitational at the Doug Edgard Indoor Track on Friday. The grad transfer kicked off the meet by winning long jump. Not only was her leap of 5.87 meters a new school record, it is also currently tops in the NAIA.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Freshman Addy Wiley dominated the Warrior Invitational Friday at Indiana Tech's Doug Edgard Indoor Track to prove she's one of very best in the nation. The Huntington rookie hit three A standards by racing her way to wins in the 600, 800 and 1,000 meters. More importantly, the converted times are all the fastest times in the NAIA this season.

She toed the 600 meters first and blew away the competition in 1:29.77 to not only establish a new school record but a new NAIA all-time record as well. It converted to 1:28.69.

WINONA LAKE, Ind.  – Senior Hank Pulver achieved a significant milestone Saturday afternoon in Huntington's 75-70 upset on the road over #6 Grace (18-3, 8-3). In addition to helping guide his team to one of the biggest wins of their season, the 6-8 forward also became  the 52nd Forester to join HU's 1,000 point club.

Pulver entered the contest needing just eight points to join this elite group and his bucket down low with 2:34 remaining proved points seven and eight and upped Huntington's lead to 69-65. It was HU's last field goal of the day as their final six points came by way of the charity stripe.

WINONA LAKE, Ind. – The HU women's basketball team suffered a 76-61 loss Saturday afternoon to the #RV Grace Lancers at the Manahan Orthopaedic Capital Center. It's the Foresters second loss to GC inside of a week. With the win, the Lancers (16-5, 9-2) earn the regular season series sweep over Huntington (8-13, 3-8).

The first quarter went HU's way. It was 16-13 at the first break behind six points from Konnor Gambrell. The 6-0 forward only played three minutes before heading to the bench in foul trouble. The next ten minutes, however; swung in Grace's favor. The hosts, behind eight points from one of the league's most dominant players in Karlee Feldman, outscored HU 25-11 for a 38-27 halftime lead.

SPRING ARBOR, Mich.  – Playing Spring Arbor (8-12, 2-8) for the second time in a week, the #RV HU men's basketball team wrapped up the regular season sweep over SAU with a 73-61 win at the McDonald Athletic Center Wednesday night. The previous Wednesday, Alford and crew hosted the Cougars and sent them home with a 91-62 loss.

The Foresters have notched five straight wins over Spring Arbor. On this given night, they spotted their hosts the first three of the contest but then went off for 11 straight points to take over the lead. HU's first double-digit advantage came with eight minutes left in the period at 27-17. By the 3:38 mark, double digits separated the two squads permanently.

HUNTINGTON, Ind. – Wednesday night's home game against Spring Arbor, which marked the start of the second round of league play, didn't go as planned for the Forester women's basketball team as they dropped an 87-84 decision to their guests.

The first time these two squads met up was last week when HU nabbed a 76-67 road win, so it was sweet revenge for the Cougars as tonight's victory evened up the regular season series. The win bumps Spring Arbor to 14-6 overall which includes a 4-6 league record while the Foresters drop to 8-12 on the season, 3-7 against their CL peers.

HUNTINGTON, Ind. – Huntington University athletic director Lori Culler has announced the hiring of Josh Neideck as the Associate Head Coach for Distance Running. Neideck will serve as the coach of the men's and women's cross country program as well as the long distance coach for the track program.

"My family and I are excited to join the Huntington University community and worship Christ by serving the cross country and track and field programs," said Neideck. "We look forward to contributing to the athletic department under the leadership and vision of Lori Culler.

HUNTINGTON, Ind. – Huntington senior Kayli Iorio had a strong outing at the ISBPA Midwest Collegiate Classic over the weekend to earn this week's Crossroads League Women's Bowler of the Week.

The Hebron native (Hebron HS) finished 16th out of 380 bowlers with a five-game score of 1,017. She posted an average of 203.4 pins per game to guide HU to a 17th place finish out of 62 teams.
